Daytona to Cocoa Village

Motored up the ICW from Daytona Beach to Cocoa.

We spent three nights at Halifax harbor marina in Daytona Beach. We thought it was an excellent marina and enjoyed our time there. Although the surrounding area was a little rough so we mainly stayed around the marina.
We were planning to leave at 7AM as soon as it got light, but for some reason it was light enough at 6:30 so we left a little early. Nothing much to write about on the trip to Cocoa; it was a long day motoring. We got to Cocoa Village Marina around 3:45 and walked across the Merritt Island causeway to Publix for some much-needed groceries.
Cocoa Village was the opposite of Halifax. The marina itself wasn’t great (although not bad either) but the surrounding area was great. If we make it up this part of the ICW again, we’ll probably stop in Cocoa, but anchor out.
